Family friendly activities to do this Summer
Summer. Long balmy evenings, school holidays and a little more time to spend making memories with family and friends. With the hustle and bustle of Christmas over, the next few weeks are a great time to explore your local neighbourhood and ensure you don’t hear the dreaded “I’m bored” until the kids are ready to head back to school!
Host a BBQ
What better way to show off your new home than by hosting a summer BBQ. Making the most of your new kitchen and outdoor area in your spacious Kinmore Green home, invite your nearest and dearest for an afternoon of delicious bites, fun for the kids and some socialising for you. We recommend easy salads, some staples for the BBQ and outdoor games for the kids – big and little. The smells and sounds of the perfect Aussie barbie. If you’re keen on getting out of the house for an afternoon, particularly on a long hot summer’s day, put Aquamotion Wanneroo on the top of your list. Less than a 15-minute drive from Kinmore Green, this is a family friendly fitness and leisure centre located in the heart of Wanneroo. Whilst it features a fully equipped gym, group fitness classes and fully tailored personal training, we think it’s the fantastic aquatic facilities that you’ll come back to again and again. The children’s splash pad is a hit with the younger kids and parents alike – an outdoor pool, covered with a shade cloth, the splash pad features several water features which will keep the children entertained for hours.

Hillarys Boat Harbour
Pack the boardies and a beach umbrella and hop in the car for a day trip to Hillarys, don’t forget the sunscreen! The shallow calm waters are suitable for all swimming abilities and is an ideal spot for families to relax and enjoy the water without worrying about waves catching the kids unaware. The Boardwalk has food galore and is sure to have something for even the fussiest of eaters – not to mention multiple choices when it comes to ice cream! Between the water and the boardwalk, you can swim, eat and drink to your heart’s content.
