are really delivering this April – let’s jump in…

Joondalup Festival 2025: Embrace the Unusual

From 15 March to 5 April 2025, the Joondalup Festival invites you to “Embrace the Unusual” with over 50 events across 11 venues. While the event happens every year, this one feels extra specials with some new showstoppers in town! Take your friends or the kids and enjoy a hub of art, music, and performance. Here are some highlights you won’t want to miss:

  • The Cube – Situated on Boas Avenue, The Cube serves as the festival’s central hub. By day, it’s a relaxed space with pop-up bars and food trucks. By night, it comes alive with light projections, dance performances, and live music.
  • Water Dragons – Prepare to be amazed as three colossal, 15-metre-long dragons glide through Hillarys Boat Harbour. Propelled by jet-ski puppeteers, these spiny beasts offer a jaw-dropping spectacle complete with an epic light and sound show.
  • Spray It Forward – On 15 March, Currambine Central transforms into a live street art arena. Watch as some of Perth’s best graffiti artists create murals in real time, adding vibrant colours to the urban landscape.
